从私人领域到公共领域——西方政治的启示

西方政治主要关心的是公共领域问题。而中文的"政治"主要是管人理事的问题,更多的是同权势地位和权力直接相关。近代以降,社会领域在西方出现了。它彻底改变了西方公共领域和私人领域的含义,使得政治不仅保持着传统的公共性含义,而且也有了同国家政权相关的新语义。然而,在当今中国的政治哲学研究中,对于公共性这样的真正政治含义则重视不够,大多数研究都集中在国家权力这样的问题上。这样,公民社会或公共领域的建立这种也许是中国最根本的政治问题便被排斥在了政治研究之外。

From the Private Sphere to the Public One:Lessons from West Politics

In the west,politics mainly concerns public issues,but the situation in China is different.In China,politics concerns the management of people and business,and is usually a synonym of privilege and power.A public sphere has emerged in western societies since the modern times,completely redefining what is public and what is individual,which has helped politics retain its public nature,and establish its new relation to government power.In contemporary China,politics studies focuses on governmental matters,neglecting the political importance of the public sphere.Consequently,the fundamental political subject of establishing a civil society with healthy public sphere is ruled out in Chinese political studies.
