This paper investigates the development and change of Logical Form (LF) from GB Theory to Labeling Algorithm in Generative Syntax. LF is characterized as the syntactic peripheral extension to elaborate arguments’ quantificational meaning. It is essentially a further exploration into syntax-semantics interface. In the tradition of Generative Linguistics, LF has experienced changes in its conceptions and expressions, which has caused some vague understandings among scholars.
