Du Fu's late year's huxiang journey is the bitter ending of his fleeing from calamities. It typically reflects the tragic fate of literal man of Tang flouring age after Anshi Rebellion. During this journey Du Fu had written more than a hundred poems which implied his patriotic thought, his worries about life, his concern with the people and the desire to put down the rebellions. These poems, carrying the poet's nostalgic complex, longing for the past complex and aloofness as well as the willing to recluse, summarize the poet's political ideal and humanities of life. Though the ancient Huxiang land failed to keep Du Fu's life, it has perserved his radiative political ideal and humanism through every society. In modern history, in Hunan, men of talents with patriotic tradition-concern with the country and the people, have come out in succession, which attributed much to the deposit of Du Fu's spirit.
