Boost the Research on Philosophy and Social Sciences in Our School to Make Bigger Contribution to Regional Social Economic and Cultural Development

The sixth plenary session of the CPC’s 17th Central Committee brought forth Decision on Deepening the Reform of Cultural System and Boosting the Socialist Cultural Development and Prosperity,which is of major and far-reaching significance for developing the research on philosophy and social sciences in universities to serve our national social,economic and cultural construction.Yangzhou University,as a provincial major comprehensive university,should fully implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session,grasp the great opportunity of developing philosophy and social science,and,in the light of the School’s 12th five-year plan,strive to build our innovation system of humanities and social sciences which is of core competitiveness and academic discourse power,to contribute to the regional economic,social and cultural progress.
