| 摘 要： | 西部大开发战略的实施和我国加入WTO为西部地区的发展提供了难得的发展机遇。如何利用西部地区现有的优势,加快地区经济发展,从而促进我国经济的整体协调发展,是一个具有理论和现实意义的问题。对此,吸引外商直接投资,加快西部地区经济社会的可持续发展是现行选择,应该采取相应对策。

| Abstract: | The launch of "developing the west" and the entering of WTO offers a precious opportunity to the development of the west of China. How to take the advantage of the west to fasten economical development hence to promote the country's economical development as a whole is both a theoretical and practical question. This article argues that attracting foreign investment to fasten social economical sustainable development in the west regions is a practical choice. |
