An Interpretation of the Causes of the American Great Depression in 1930's from the Perspective of Economic Policies

We've always tried to research into the causes of the American Great Depression in 1930' s, from the Perspective of social institutions with the conclusion that it's the inevitable result of the capitalism institutions, which has been purposely avoided by western economists. In 1930' s, the keynesists for the first time explored into its causes from the perspective of fiscal policies, and in 1960' s,monetarists from the perspective of monetary policies. We can never easily deny their interpretations and policies on the Great Depression. Instead, we should try to draw some valuable enlightenment from them.
