义和团运动在中华民族解放运动史上占有极其重要的地位,同时,它对中国传统文化震动非常巨大。义和团运动失败后,知识分子对中国传统的儒家文化,尊王法祖、重文轻武等观念,全面提出怀疑、批判,从而促成了20世纪第一次对中国传统文化反思。这次运动对中西文化的交融与冲突的历史,具有深远的影响。

ON IMPACT ON CHINESE TRADITIONAL CULTURE FROM YIHE REBELLIOUS CAMPAIGN

The Yihe Rebellion took a great part in Chinese liberating history.Meanwhile,it was an immense impact on Chinese traditional culture.After the failure of the Yihe rebels,intellectuals have become thoroughly doubtful and critical about the traditional ideas as Confucianism,honoring kings & following ancestors,valuing miberal arts& devaluing martial arts,etc.Thus for the first time a counter reflection upon Chinese traditional culture came into being in the 20~(th) century.The campaign had a far-reaching impact on both merging and conflicting of Chinese culture and the Western's.
