The Golden Notebook by Lessing has been accepted as a textbook about women＇s independence for a long time,which is not completely correct.In fact,Lessing is not a radical feminist.As an archaeologist of human relationship,Lessing emphasizes ecological harmony.In The Golden Notebook,she examines the relationships between men and women,the poor and the rich,the white and the black and man and nature;she criticizes the obsession of hierarchy,racialism and anthropocentrism;she deconstructs the binary oppositions between men and women,man and nature,etc..The Golden Notebook sparkles with ecofeminism.It tells us a truth： this world needs an ecological harmony,which is the basis of human survival and reproduction.
