高校统战工作的进一步加强,对于促进党的建设具有重要意义.在新的历史时期,高校统战工作出现了一些新情况和新问题统战工作对象有所扩大,整体素质进一步提高;工作范围进一步扩大;工作任务更加繁重.高校党委必须从"三个代表"重要思想的高度认识统战工作,并以"三个代表"重要思想作为当前开创统战工作新局面的行动指南,加强党对统战工作的领导,充分发挥党外各种人才的优势,加强理论研究,全面贯彻落实"三个代表"重要思想对高校统战工作的要求.

Guiding United Front Work in Colleges and Universities with "Three Represents" Theory

It is very much significant in upgrading the construction of Chinese Communist Party(CPC) that united front work has been further strengthened in colleges and universities.New historic era sees the new situations in the united front work:the enlargement of scope of affairs and members of the united front work,further improvement of the quality of the members as a whole.Thus,Party Committee in colleges and universities must treat the united front work and open up new horizon in it according to the "Three Represents" Theory,aiming at reinforcing the leadership of CPC to the united front work,putting the advantages of non-CPC-member talents into full play,intensifying theoretical studies,and finally meeting the demands of the "Three Represents" Theory to united front work in an all-round way.
