衔接理论在英语写作教学中的运用

摘    要:本文运用准实验法讨论了在英语写作教学中如何综合运用韩礼德-哈桑的衔接理论,通过实验证明:在英语写作教学中综合强化运用衔接理论比单一采用传统的写作教学方法确实具有明显的教学效果。

The Application of Cohesion Theory in Teaching English Writing

Abstract:The purpose of the article is trying to check the hypothesis that whether the use of Cohesion theory is instructive and helpful or not to teach English writing in the EFL environment. In order to discuss the usage of Cohesion theory proposed by Halliday and Hasan in teaching English writing, the author design a quasi-experimental study. The subjects of the design are the students in Grade 3 who are majoring in Tourist English on Campus C of Chongqing University. The subjects are divided into two groups, one is the control group, and the other is the experimental group. After one semester, more exactly, 14 teaching weeks, comparing the results of the two groups of the experiment, we found that, in teaching English writing, the intentional using Cohesion theory in teaching English writing has great effects on improving the students' writing ability in Chinese environment.
