论科玄论战的现代性与后现代性特征

摘    要:从将后现代性看成一种对现实观照的思想态度或风格来看,发生在 1923 年的科学与人生观论战是一次现代性与后现代性论争历程中的一个典型案例。虽然从时代上看这是中国走上现代化之初的一场论战,但科学派提出的人生观充满了现代性精神,而玄学派所提出的人生观,以及对科学派人生观的批评,在某些方面具有了后现代性的特征。而科学派对玄学派的批评,又具有维护现代性的特点。

Abstract:Abstract: From the viewpoint that postmodernity can be seen as an ideological attitude towards reality, the debate about science and life-outlook, which took place in 1923, is a typical one about modernity and postmodernity, although the modernization of China, at that time, was just at the beginning. The life-outlook favored by the scientific school is full of modernity, while the life-outlook favored by metaphysical school and the criticism on the scientific school are, in a sense, characteristic of postmodernity. And the criticism of scientific school on metaphysical school features the safeguarding of modernity.
