| 摘 要： | 针对《女勇士》中女性形象刻画上所表现出的自相矛盾现象,解读汤亭亭作为女性作家的女性主义策略和作为华裔女性作家的创作困境。重点分析学界对《女勇士》中女性形象自相矛盾的误读,指出汤亭亭的创作由于受到自身特殊身份和处于特定历史时期的限制,其创作思想未能摆脱西方二元对立的束缚。

| Abstract: | The paper illustrated Kingston's feminist agenda as a woman writer and dilemma as a Chinese American woman writer through the analysis of the contradictions in the portrayal of women's characters in The Woman Warrior.It focused on critics' misreading of The Woman Warrior concerning the contradictions and Kingston's inability of deconstructing in her writing the Western binary oppositions due to the restriction of her special position and the special age she was in when she wrote the book. |
