先秦时代声色之美和形式之美基本上没有独立的价值和地位。这种情况在汉代发生了重大变化:纯粹意义上的形式美开始成为自觉的追求;对声色之美和形式美的展现和追求在更大范围内展开;声色之美和形式美因素成为审美接受和评判的标准。从这种新变化、新发展、新趋势的总体来看,可以概括为:美的升值。它与审美走向自觉相同步,并成为其重要表征。

Upgrading of the Value of Beauty: An Important Representation of Aesthetics' Attaining Self-consciousness in Han Dynasty

In the pre-Qin period,beauty of sound-color and beauty of forms had no independent value and status.This situation changed in Han Dynasty: formal beauty in the pure sense had become the self-conscious pursuit;the presentation and pursuit of beauty of sounds-colors and beauty of forms happened in the larger range;elements of beauty of sounds-colors and beauty of forms became the criteria for aesthetic reception and evaluation.These new transition,new development and new trends can be generalized as upgrading of the value of beauty.Synchronously,aesthetics attained self-consciousness.In addition,the former became the important representation of the latter.
