| Abstract: | NI Huan-zhi have four important editions: first-appearing edition, first edition, abridged edition, and selection edition. The change in the editions reflects three different intentions of revision: to pursue artistic perfection, to be in accordance with the new literary norm, and to be linguistically standerdized. There are different characteristics for different texts or editions of the novel. |
