关于外资银行机构设置形式的思考

外资银行机构的组织形式主要有三种类型,即分行、独资银行和合资银行.不同形式的外资银行各有利弊.文章针对我国引进外资银行实践中以分行形式为主的状况,结合分行形式的潜在风险,指出应适当调整过于偏重分行形式的做法,并进一步提出了调整引进策略的具体思路,即短期内仍以分行为主但应对其加强监管并适当控制其引进速度,积极发展合资银行,尽量限制独资银行.

On the Setting Form of Foreign Banks

There are three kinds of foreign banks-branches of a bank, banks of exclusive-ownership, joint venture banks. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Aiming at the status that we lay particular stress on branches at present and the latent risk of branches, this paper points out that we should adjust certain policies, strengthen supervising branches and suitably control the indraught speed, develop joint venture banks and restrict banks of exclusive-ownership.
