| 摘 要： | 将中国电影名片译成英语，必须以功能对等为目标，按照片名的信息价值、文化价值、审美价值和商业价值的要求进行翻译。翻译过程中，应对片名进行分析，根据不同情况采用直译、音译、意译、另译等不同方法，使英语译名形式与电影内容达到辩证统一。

| Abstract: | In translating the titles of Chinese movies into English, the functional equivalence principle should be employed. Associated with this principle, four values, namely the informative, the cultural, the aesthetic and the commercial values are taken into consideration in the translating process. On the basis of the analysis of the Chinese movie titles, four different translating methods are applied to piloting the Chinese English movie title translation. |
