人民币国际化问题初探

近10年来,随着我国经济与金融实力不断增强,人民币在我周边国家和港澳地区流量日增,人民币成长为世界货币的前景日渐显现.但人民币国际化有利也有弊.在国内仍处于外汇管制的情况下,建立人民币离岸中心宜与内地放开外汇管制相适应.相比之下,建立某种清算机制更有利于对流通上述各地的人民币实施监测与调控,维护国内金融稳定与安全.

On the Internationalization of RMB

In the recent 10 years, with the improvement of China's economic and financial strength, RMB has enjoyed an ever-increasing circulation in its neighboring counties and Hong Kong and Macao. The chances are becoming greater for RMB to become an international currency. But the internationalization has both advantages and disadvantages. With the domestic foreign exchange under control, it is necessary to make the creation of the RMB off-shore center fit for the relaxation of control. Relatively, it is more desirable to put the circulation of RMB in the above-mentioned regions under supervision and regulation by some clearing mechanism.
