| Abstract: | FENG Yu-xiang came to visit Zigong, where the Economy and Donation Movement originated, from June to July in 1944 for the second time. He sponsored the Economy and Donation Movement and the total amount of money donated in Zigong topped the first in the whole country. The main reason of the achievement was the promotion and encouragement of the local newspapers. |
