宋代私学与理学的结合有其历史必然性和现实可能性.私学与理学结合后,逐渐成为理学的主要传播媒介,对私学的传播者、受众、私学的传播途径、内容等方面的考察我们就可以得出这一点.同时,随着理学的逐步正统化,私学--主要是书院也逐步官学化,私学从而与理学传播渐行渐远了.

After the union, private education gradually became the main dissemination media of neo-Confucianism. Through the research into the private education's disseminators and audience, and into the way and the content of its dissemination, we can come to the above conclusion. As neo-Confucianism gradually became orthodox, private education, Shu-yuan in the main, was gradually officialized, and estranged from neo-Confucianism.
