| Abstract: | Fewer and fewer Chinese are opting to live with their extended families under the same roof these days. Young couples prefer to start their own families outside of their parents＇ houses. More and more seniors would rather stay at home and enjoy retirement without children under their feet. Most children who do not live with their parents visit occasionally - generally on weekends or holidays. Still, a few Chinese prefer to live in a big family with three or more generations under one roof. |
