联省自治运动在20世纪20年代初兴起原因新探

20世纪20年代初兴起的联省自治运动,对整个20年代的中国政局产生了重大影响。这一运动之所以在这一时间段兴起,原因可归结为三点:军阀混战后政治格局发生变动,不但南北不能统一,而且北也不能统一北,南也不能统一南;中央集权衰弱,地方势力膨胀;各阶层人们支持联省自治。这三种因素形成一股合力,共同推动了联省自治运动的兴起。

A New Probe into the Causes for Emergence of Joint-Provinces' Autonomy in the Early 1920's

The movement of joint-provinces' autonomy that sprang up at the beginning of 1920's exerted an important impact on the Chinese political situation of the whole 1920's.The paper argues that the movement was caused by three factors.Firstly,the political situation changed after wars among warlords,that is,the south and the north could not be unified and neither could the south itself or the north itself.Secondly,the centralization of state power declined and local power increased.Thirdly,people from all walks of life supported joint-provinces' autonomy.These three factors formed a joint force that pushed forward the emergence of the movement.
