| Abstract: | The findings of the survey on the implementation of the new English curriculum in five senior middle schools of Zhejiang province show that, while conspicuous progress has been made in senior-middleschool English teaching since the implementation of the new curriculum, there are still some problems, e.g. , the new textbooks are yet to be perfected, teachers＇ qualities need to be improved, the student evaluation system cries for optimization, and the in-service training of teachers should be increased. |
