在农业可持续发展中,农民合作社担负着生态环境的优化者、科技成果的扩散者、基础设施的改善者、政府调控的传导者、农民参与的聚合者等诸多功能。目前,农民合作社的发展既面临着良好机遇,又遭受着严重约束。在农民合作社的发展中,应坚持目标的渐进性、原则的变通性、模式的多样性、业务的拓展性等原则。

In the agricultural sustainable development,farmers'cooperative functions in a variety of aspects.It helps to optimize the ecological environment,to spread the scientific and technological achievements,to improve the infrastructure,to transmit government regulation and control,and to assemble farmers'participation.While at present,its development is confronted with both opportunities and restraints.Thus,in the development,the following principles should be followed: to achieve aims gradually,to adapt the rules if necessary,to vary patterns,and to enlarge the scope of business.
