试论词汇语义对语法的决定作用

词汇与语法的关系问题，是伴随语言学历史但至今仍然没有很好解答的问题。长期以来，语法得到了高度重视，词汇的价值被忽视。事实证明，孤立地研究词汇和语法，不关注词汇与语法的关系，影响了我们对语言机制的深刻认识和准确把握。那种简单地认为语法是语言的主导和核心，词汇只是备用材料，语言的运用只是根据语法规则对词汇进行组配的看法，是本末倒置的。事实上，意义是语言的出发点和落脚点，词汇语义对语言要素的性质、功能及组配模式、表达形式等都具有决定性作用，汉语尤其如此。与此相关，应建立新的词义观。

Lexical Decisive Function of Meaning on Grammar

The problem of the relation between lexicon and grammar went with the history of language but has not yet been sovled satisfactorily. Grammar has been attached more attention to while the value of lexicon is ignored. It has been proven that the dissevering of the relation between lexicon and grammar-not paying attention to the relation between the two-affected our deep recognition and accurate mastery of the mechanism of language. It is putting the cart before the horse to simply regard grammar as the dominant role and core of language, while lexicon being the spare materials and the application of language being a combination and collocation of words according to the grammatical rules. As a matter of fact, meaning is the start and also the finish of language. It＇s really so in Chinese that lexical meaning has its decisive function on the feature of the essential factors, the functions, the combination and collocation model and the form of expression of language. Therewith, we should develop a new conception of lexical meaning.
