| Abstract: | Moby Dick is a great novel, an encyclopedia of everything, a fascinating labyrinth of art. In this paper, the author makes a survey of the book in the aspects of language, theme, structure, and the use of symbolism. The language of Moby Dick is difficult to understand; it has complicated themes; its structure is unique; and the use of symbolism in the book is pervasive. Moby Dick is a great literary work, having an eternal artistic attraction to the readers. |
