| 摘 要： | 英语典故浓厚的文化特征决定了异化和归化是英语典故翻译中互为补充、不可或缺的两种途径。异化能很好地保留原语文化和形象，归化能很好地传达原语寓意和精神，二者各具特色，各有用途，都是语言和文化的精华，具有鲜明的民族色彩和地方特色。在异化和归化途径下，应灵活运用不同的翻译方法。

| Abstract: | Foreignization and domestication are two procedures in translation of allusion for its strong cultural features.They complement each other and neither of them can be neglected.Foreignization does well in keeping the culture and images for the source language,while domestication can be equally good in conveying deep meaning and spirit from the source language.Each method has its characteristics and holds its own adoptions.Different translation methods should be applied freely under those two procedures. |
