钱穆论中等教育

钱穆在集美中学、无锡三师、苏州中学从事中学教育的8年间，感同身受当时中学教育的弊端，主张中学教育以锻炼体魄、开发智能为目标，提出“文化教育”与“人才教育”的人才培养模式，建议通过国史教育培养中学生的爱国主义思想。他对中等教育改革提出的批评和建议，既是他从事中等教育的实践心得，又是他研究中国文化的成果，具有一定的理论与现实意义。

Qian Mu''s Remark on China''s Secondary Education

Qian Mu once worked as a middle school teacher for eight years in Xiamen, Wuxi and Suzhou. According to his understanding of the then teaching, he put forward his own concept, i.e. ＂culture and talents education＂, which focused on the development of students＂ bodies and souls. As to the patrio＇dsm, he believed it could be achieved by teaching students the Chinese history. Qian＇s ideas about the secondary education reform still have some theoretical and realistic meanings in today.
