试论东盟在中美之间的战略走向

在中国、美国、东盟三边互动之中,东盟并不是被动应对的。为确保自己的利益,东盟在中美之间并没有作出非此即彼的选择,而是力求平衡中美两国在东南亚地区的影响。无论中国还是美国都是东盟的重要伙伴。因而,进一步推动同中美两国之间的合作、努力保持中美关系的稳定,最符合东盟战略利益的需要。

On ASEAN's Strategic Orientation between China and the United States

ASEAN doesn't respond passively among the trilateral relationship of ASEAN,China and the United States.In order to safeguard its interests,ASEAN tries its best to balance the effect of China and the United States in Southeast Asia instead of choosing one of them.Both China and the Inited States are ASEAN's important partners.Therefore,it is ASEAN's strategy interests to promote its cooperation with China and the United States and keep the stability of Sino-U.S.relation.
