外语差生归因调查

摘    要:运用韦纳的归因理论 ,对我院 1999级英语补考学生进行归因调查和分析的结果表明 ,大部分学生把外语考试未通过归因于自己努力不够等因素 ,半数以上的学生对外语学习兴趣不大 ,绝大多数学生对学好外语持乐观态度。这些表面上互相矛盾的归因对于外语教师更好地了解差生 ,从而更有效地施教 ,改进自己的教学均具有重要的理论和实践意义。

Abstract:Attribution theory has been widely employed to probe into learners' motivation. A survey has been conducted to investigate attribution orientations of lower achievers in English in CQUPT. The finding shows that the majority attribute their failure to their inadequate efforts, that about half of them is demotivated, and that most low achievers have confidence in learning English well. Such paradoxical results are expected to be suggestive for language teachers to understand low achievers better and to render their instructions more individual oriented.
