荀子性情论

摘    要:荀子哲学中的性与情,或辞意相佐,或指谓有分。从人性与人情意涵相殊的层面,荀子不仅作出了人之性恶、人情不美的不同评判,同时也构建了改善人性与美化人情的不同路径。就儒学传承的脉络而言,荀子对性情内涵的新界定以及对性情关系的辨析,无疑推动了性、情范畴的逻辑演进,然而他对人性与人情的评判,则是先秦儒学中对于人的价值定位的一次突转。

Abstract:When nature and condition were used in Xunzi's philosophy,their meaning were similar or diffirent.From the diffirent meaning of human nature and human condition,Xunzi judged that human was evil by nature and not nice in his or her condition.He also constructed the diffirent way to improve human nature and beautify human condition.As for as the developing veins of Confusionism,Xunzi pushed the logical evolution of nature and condition forward by defining the two categories afresh and discriminating the relation of them.However,what his judgment to human nature and human condition was a sudden turn on the location of human value of Confusionism during the pre-Qin period.
