Abstract:It is well known that to learn a language means to learn how to communicate with others.But in the author's eyes few Chinese teachers think that to learn literature means to learn communication as well.The author explores the inside relationship between literature and communication in her thesis.She analyzes some great works of postmodernism to show different kinds of communication in order to enable both teachers and students of English to pay even greater attention to literature as a medium of communication.
