| 摘 要： | 根据当代红学家的研究,现存《红楼梦》文本,和作者原本有一段距离。这种文本间的衍变,是在同一种文化中进行的,与译者经周详考虑而作出的调整不可混为一谈。翻译问题是在另一时空进行的“文本衍义”活动。

| Abstract: | The research undertaken by contemporary scholars on Dream of the Red Chamber reveals that there is some distance between the existing texts of th e novel and the author's original idea. As the changes were produced in the sour ce culture, they are not to be confused with adaptations made by the translator in the process of translation, for translation is an activity of textual adaptat ion in another culture. |
