| Abstract: | The feudatory system is an important part of Chinese ancient state system of government. Local self-government and national autonomy are the basic features of the feudatory system. This article mainly examines the states under the feudatory system and feudatory political power around the border areas in the past dynasties, and concrete forms of the limited local self-government and national autonomy system that were instituted and the significance and the results of the feudatory system are pointed out. |
