非英语专业理工本科生英语语用能力和认知策略的研究

摘    要:文章旨在研究非英语专业理工本科生的英语语用能力水平以及他们的英语语用能力和认知策略之间的关系。通过对129名东华理工大学非英语专业理工本科生进行了两个问卷调查的定量和定性分析、研究,其结果如下:到目前为止,非英语专业理工本科生的语用能力仍处在一个很低的水平上;网络环境下,认知策略的使用有利于学生语用能力的提高。针对以上结果分析提出了充分利用互联网,以小组为中心的任务教学法等教学策略。

Abstract:This paper attempts to study the relationship between their cognitive ted to 129 non-English-major undergrad the pragmatic competence of non-English-major undergraduates, especially strategies and pragmatic competence. Two questionnaires were administra-uates in East China Institute of Technology (ECIT). By using both quanti-tative and qualitative analysis, the present study offers some interesting findings: First, up to now, their general level of pragmatic competence is much lower at present; second, the use of cognitive strategies can contribute to the testees' pragmatic competence under the Intemet circumstances. The paper also offers pedagogical implica-tions for English teaching, such as using group-centered task teaching and making best use of Internet, etc.
