The influence of wei books on poetic theory proposed in Reflections on Literature Creation |

| Abstract: | The wei books involving divination studies took shape in accordance with the Confucian classics. These books offered a new and unique explanation of poetic nature and function, and even produced influence on Liu Xie’s Reflections of Literature Creation though he negated and criticized the divination studies. |
