中西人文主义异同初探--兼谈传统文化改造的必要性

中国的人精神和西方的人精神都立足于“以人为本”，但其内涵和外延均有较大的差异。西方化带有浓厚的宗教色彩，中国化在其早期就显示出非宗教性的品格特征——浓厚的人精神。所以由中西化所形成的中西人格取向，道德价值观迥然不同。历史赋予我们当代人的使命是通过改造传统化来发展现代化，而不是用现代化来嫁接传统化，这是我们搞社会主义现代化的立足点和出发点。

Both Chinese and Ivestern humanity regard man as their essence (base) ,But their connotation and denotation are quite different, western culture has strong religious colour while Chinese wlture has showed its nonregligious character trait--strong humanity in its early stage. Because of their different persona lity telldenly and moral value caued by chilwse and western culture, weare entrusted with the task to realie modemilation by reforming traditional calture rather than change it partially, it is a standpoint and a starting point of our deueloping socialist modernication.
