| Abstract: | Metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon but also a way of thinking. This way of thinking plays an important role in second language acquisition. However, the development of the students＇ metaphorical thinking ability is influenced by many factors, such as language skills, ways of thinking, cultural differences, and the context. How to develop the students＇ metaphorical thinking ability is an important question for discussion. |
