Internal Contradicitons of the Practical Aesthetics of Li Zehou in the Later Stage

There exist four pairs of contradiction of group reason and individual reason, instrumental noumenon and psychological noumenon, philosophy and aesthetics, and theory and history inherent in the practical philosophy of Li Zehou in the later stage. Anthropological perspectives are origins of the stance of the group reason and instrumental ontology which fundamentally constrain psychological ontology which is the essence of subjective practical philosophy. Post-practical philosophy is a handmaid of subjective practical philosophy rather than an independent and profound aesthetic theory. Li Zehou intended to merge the Chinese and the Western through the combination of history and theory but ended up elucidating the Chinese in terms of the Western. The various pairs of contradictions put together greatly restrict the academic achievements of practical aesthetics.
