雪球：汉族形成时期的族群结构、互动与认同

作为世界上人口最多的民族，汉族犹如一硕大无比的雪球，在雪球的滚动中形成、发展和壮大。在汉民族形成时期，其族群结构复杂而多变，在历时两千余年的沧桑中呈现出互动融合之势，这其中主要包括夏、商、周三族融合的浪潮及其向夷、蛮、狄的波及和扩展。其间的族群认同，即族群身份的确认（其标志是汉族族称的确定）也经历了一个从分散到集中的转型过程。
