| 摘 要： | 随着认知语言学的发展,索绪尔提出的语言任意性原则不断地受到怀疑与挑战。本文通过对这些争论和索绪尔符号理论的分析,认为语言象似性并不构成对语言任意性的否定,两者只是在不同层面上对语言的本质的认识。

| Abstract: | With the development of cognitive linguistics,Saussurean idea that language is fundamentally arbitrary has been doubted and challenged.This paper mainly discusses the debate concerning this issue,and proposes that arbitrariness and iconicity do exist in linguistic signs,and both of them reveal the nature of linguistic signs,but from different perspectives. |
