| Abstract: | In reality,to elaborate,by means of making comparison between Taoist thought and Confucian thought,such Taoist viewpoints as "to retire after achieving success","to be kind to all and live a quiet life" and "to value fame more than wealth",may help give prominence to the social significance and social value of Laozi's thought about fame and wealth. |
