谶纬的禁绝与辑佚

从历朝历代均要禁绝谶纬来看,实际上禁之不绝;禁绝谶纬虽然主要令出帝王,但帝王往往信仰之。之所以要禁绝谶纬,则在于谶纬的中心内容主要是君权的政治合法性问题,而此问题恰恰属于最＂敏感＂的话题,不可讨论。此外,将学术史上对谶纬的辑佚加以展示,可以为谶纬的进一步深入研究提供指引。

CHEN WEI：THEIR BANNING IN HISTORY AND THEIR COMPILATION

Chen wei was officially banned in every dynasties,and even so,banning has never been very successful.It was the emperors who issued the banning policy,but very often the emperors themselves were amenable to the ideas expressed in those books.They banned them simply because the books were usually focused on the political legitimacy of the royal power,which touched the nerves of the emperors.Although officially banned,the books were continuously compiled in the hands of scholars down the history.This essay provides some guidance to the body of the compiled chen wei literature.
