| 摘 要： | 《荒原》和《坐六》作为东西方诗人对人生本质把握的集中体现，反映了人类生命至奥的体验和追求，对诗歌艺术永恒与世界性的向往。艾略特的成功，是几千年西方人道观的历史总结和现代人生思考的开始。龙彼德基于文化多元性和流动性的眼光的全面纵横考察，以东方的睿智，实现了世界、人和人生全面的把握，达到了人道的人类沟通。

| Abstract: | As concentrated embodiments of the understanding of the essence of human life by poetsof both the East and the West , The Waste la7id and Six-Sitting are reflections of man ' s experi-ence and pursuit of the ultimate mysteries of human life and his longing for the eternality and uni-versality of the art of poetry. Eliot' s success is a historical summary of the West view on man inthe past thousands of years and the beginning of modern man , s reflection thereon. Long Bide, onthe other hand , has , by basing himself on comprehensive investigations with insight derived fromcultural pluralism and fluidity and oriental wisdom, arrived at a fuller understanding of man, hu-man life and the universe, achieving at last a universal linking-up of views on man of the wholemankind . |
