英语学习中的概括、过度概括与母语干扰

摘    要:文章以中国学生在英语学习过程中常犯的几类过度概括错误为例,分析了错误产生的原因,探讨了过度概括和母语干扰的关系,并指出概括是外语学习中的一个普遍策略,学习的性质决定了过度概括的错误是一个不可避免的现象。因此,外语教师应以科学的态度看待过度概括错误,采取适当措施,尽可能减少诱发过度概括的不利因素。

Abstract:Taking the overgeneralization errors frequently made by Chinese learners as examples,the present paper analyses the causes for these errors and discusses the relationship between overgeneralization and the negative transfer of the mother tongue.It is believed that generalization is a common strategy in foreign language learning process,and overgeneralization is an unavoidable phenomenon.So teachers should have a scientific attitude towards overgeneralization and take measures to minimize the unfavorable factors that cause these errors.
