摘    要:哈佛大学通识教育虽然起源于自由教育,但并不是对自由教育的简单移植,而是立足美国本土文化进行再创造的历史产物.哈佛大学通识教育的发展启示我们,只有从国家战略高度出发,依托本民族文化,以时代趋势为导向,以本土化为原则,通过政策的顶层设计,才能真正建构一套具有自主特色的通识教育模式,从而为培养合格公民提供根本性的制度保障.

Abstract:Although originated from liberal education,American general education realized full revolution and re-creation of the former on the basis of American indigenous culture.It enlightens us that if we want to construct a set of general education mode with Chinese characteristics,which could provide fundamental institutional guarantee for the cultivation of qualified socialist citizens,we should strengthen top-level design based on the era trend and the principle of indigenization with correspondence to Chinese native culture.
