马克思与怀特海

很多人认为,在美国这样一个以中产阶级为主体的社会中,不存在资产阶级和无产阶级的对立,因此马克思的阶级分析理论不适用于美国社会。但是随着冷战的结束,以及中产阶级数量的减少,美国社会的现实阶级基础越来越显示出来;另一方面全球资本主义的扩张又在世界范围内强化了资本主义贵族和无产阶级平民之间的对抗,马克思主义的话语也因此越来越增强了其适用性。而怀特海的思想由于其对传统形而上学的批判显示出在全球化的时代社会压迫的阶级结构上的独特价值。

Marx and Whitehead

To many people, the antagonism of the capital class and the proletariat class does not exist in the society of U.S.A. with the middle class in the majority. Therefore, Marx's class analysis theory is not suitable for the American society. But since the end of the cold war and the reduction of the quantity of middle class, the realistic class basis in the American society shows more and more; on the other hand, the expansion of the global capitalism has strengthened the antagonism between capitalist nobles and proletariat poor people all over the world, therefore, the Marxist discourse strengthen their suitability gradually. Due to its criticism of traditional metaphysics, the idea of Whitehead shows the unique value at the class structure of the social oppression in the globalized era.
