摘    要:"昙曜五窟"是北魏王朝皇家石窟营造的开始,也是云冈石窟艺术的代表。它蕴涵了平城帝都文化的精髓,全面展示了北魏帝都的物质文化和精神文化的底蕴,是北魏帝都文化的重要标志之一。"昙曜五窟"在理念上与大同城市文化相通,成为今日大同城市文化的名片。

Abstract:The carving of the Five Tanyao Caves in Yungang Grottoes indicates the beginning of the royal caves'construction in Northern Wei Dynasty,and the Five Tanyao Caves are also the representatives of Yungang Grotto art.They connate the essence of the capital culture of Pingcheng,showing both physical and spiritual culture of the capital of Northern Wei Dynasty from all aspects.They are one of the important signals of the capital culture of Northern Wei Dynasty.The designing ideology of the Five Tanyao Caves is the same as the city culture of Datong,which have become the cultural card of Datong today.
