大学语文今论

大学语文的“语文”二字含义当定位于“语言文章”。大学语文不同于中小学语文教学,其侧重点应当是对文章内容和作者思想感情的理解体味而不是字词句篇等工具和手段的掌握;主张平视前人,有独立的主见。语文课不同于大学的其他课程,应当让学生通过文学和美学的熏陶,培养高尚的人格,学会做人;完善思维结构,培养创造性思维;举一反三,主动学习优秀范文的写作技巧。

Modern View on College Chinese

The implied meaning of the word "Chinese" in "College Chinese" should be understood as "language and article".The teaching of College Chinese in universities should be different from that in primary and secondary schools.The stress of College Chinese should not be laid on the mastery of words,sentences and articles as a tool but on the understanding and appreciation of the contents of the articles and the thoughts and feelings of the authors.Students are expected to look at the predecessors on the basis of equality and to have definite views of their own.College Chinese is different from other courses in universities.Being brought up and nurtured by literature and aesthetics,the students will be able to have a noble character,knowing how to get along with other people.Their thinking structure will be improved and their creative thinking will be cultivated.They will be able to draw inferences about other cases from one instance and be active to learn the writing skills of model articles.
