论民族精神教育与公民教育相结合的历史必然性

弘扬和培育民族精神是公民教育的内在要求。在一个民族的发展中,民族精神以其独有的导向、凝聚、塑造、激励等多种功能发挥着特殊的作用。公民教育以培养公民的民族意识和热爱祖国的思想感情为首要任务,以公民权利和义务教育贯穿始终。弘扬和培育民族精神必须正视一个极其重要的问题,即弘扬和培育民族精神,必须融合中外文化之精华。实现民族优秀文化和外来先进文化的融合,才能保持中华民族精神的强大生命力。弘扬和培育民族精神的思路不能仅局限于民族文化自身,而应从民族文化以外寻找配合力量,这种力量就是公民教育。在我国实现中西两大文明教育的融合,必将大大增强我国的综合国力、政治活力和文化生产力,这就是民族精神教育与公民教育相结合的历史必然性。

On the Inevitability of the Combination of National Education With Citizen Education

It is the internal requirement for the citizen education to carry forward and cultivate national spirit.In the development of a nation,the national spirit plays its special action with its unique guidance,concentration,model and stimulation functions.The citizen education takes cultivating citizen's national consciousness and ideological feeling for loving motherland as its first task and carries through citizen right and compulsory education.For carrying forward and cultivating national spirit it is necessary to pay attention to an important question,i.e.to merge the cream of both Chinese and foreign culture.Only the blend of the good national culture and the advanced foreign culture is realized can the powerful vitality of Chinese spirit be maintained.For realizing this,we cannot only limit national culture itself,but should look for the assorted force.Such force is the citizen education.In our country,the realization of the combination of Sino-foreign civilization education will greatly strengthen our country's comprehensive national force,political vitality and cultural productive force.This is the history inevitability of the combination of national spirit education with citizen education.
