狂欢节具有极其丰富的精神内涵和文化内涵，但它们都相当程度地融于游戏之中，演变为文学语言。《巴黎圣母院》描写的中心情节，甚至包括相当多的次要情节几乎都与狂欢节诸多民间游戏融为一体．并且以诸多游戏特别广场游戏构成其强烈的动态性，又以密室游戏演变为静态性，但无论游戏本身或游戏主体均已发生变异而具有了深刻的思想内涵。

On the Variation of Carnival Folk Games——The Madonna in Paris and Literary Carnival

Carnival has extremely abundant spiritual and cultural connotations which are mostly integrated into games and expressed by literary language. Both the main plots narrated in "The Madonna in Paris",and even the subsequent plots,almost integrated the carnival with the folk games most of which are the square games that compose strong dynamics whereas some sanctum games have become static. However,either the subjects of the games or the games themselves have changed and possessed profound connotations.
